Other may have different warranty periods. If the part is defective and I-Pal is informed within the effective warranty period, and if the fault qualifies for the warranty terms, I-Pal shall, repair or replace or refund the original charge of the item. Fault as a result of operation out of specifications, power surge induced, lightning induced, flood induced, severe environmental exposure, cannibalization of parts, accident, improper calibration, negligence, misuse, tampering or acts of God shall void the warranty. In no event shall I-Pal be liable directly or indirectly for incidental, exemplary, consequential or special damages, expenses, business interruption, lost profits, saving, business information, or any other damages arising out of our service or product. There maybe additional charges if the repair is not warranty related. Any related charge of the non-warranty repair shall not exceed the original repaired charge, customer shall be informed if the charge exceed. Worth to Repair, or Not? It is hard to tell, but if the device quantity is low and is still easily available at a low cost with a short lead time and a low shipping cost then as a general rule it should be more economical to replace than to repair. But if you can think of ways to lower the cost of the service provider then it maybe possible to arrange for a repair. What is the service turnaround time? More than 90% of our service orders are done in 15 working days. Bench checks are done in 7 working days. Orders that takes longer time are due to obsolete or hard-to-find parts or components. Do you have 24/7 coverage, what is the charges? YES. At any time, on or off office hours, 24/7, you can reach our duty-engineer through a one number service. Evaluation Fees? NO and yes. NO, if a quoted service is taken up by the customer. If the customer choose not to proceed with the requested work on the service order(or Purchase order), a nominal fee shall apply to compensate for a fraction of the costs incurred. For regular customers, we recommend "direct repair" as this saves a lot of paper work, and therefore unnecessary fee for you and cost to us. What is the average bench test (verification) price?Bench-check fees for the majority of the components are free. Specialty items are charged if the tests are tedious or special test-jogs or test programs need to be made. However, these fees if charged would be returned when there repairs being done later.
